My husband and I worked with Deirdre for our daughter who was born September 2023. Deirdre’s support was invaluable, especially since we were first time parents. During our 3 months together, Deirdre was knowledgeable, trustworthy, responsive and kind. She was always available by phone, even on the days when she was not working, and was constantly checking in to make sure even our smallest questions were answered. With Deirdre’s guidance, our daughter was on a consistent feeding/sleep schedule at 6 weeks and sleeping through the night at 10 weeks. We were also able to get the rest we needed and reassurance from working with an expert.
Not only did she help us with our daughter, she was extremely supportive to me and always looked out for me during the hardest part of the postpartum period. We feel very lucky to have found Deirdre and worked with her to get through the newborn phase. I'd strongly recommend Deirdre and already have to several friends who are expecting! 

I highly recommend Deirdre Farr as a night doula. Deirdre took care of our little baby from when he was 3 weeks old until 13 weeks old.  She

came 5 nights a week.  She is reliable, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with.  She put me at ease right away as it is clear she has a lot of experience and loves working with babies.  More than that though, Deirdre showed me so much compassion and empathy as a new mom and as a mom who has experienced loss. Deirdre explained things patiently to me as I didn’t have any knowledge of sleep training prior to working with her. She also listened to me when I preferred to do things a certain way. I always felt that we both had *Baby's best interest at heart, which was really important to me.

I never thought I would trust someone so much with my baby, but Deirdre made it easy to trust her from the very beginning. My only regret is that we couldn’t keep her for longer as I was very sad to see her go. She helped *Baby get on a great feeding and sleeping schedule and allowed my husband and I to rest, which was very desperately needed.  I hope I get the chance to work with Deirdre again and would recommend her to any family.
